JOHNNY WOJTANOWICZ
STYLIST

Johnny has had the privilege of traveling all across the west and east coast of the states, Europe, and Asia working with numerous production companies, television series, hair companies and top level salons. This experience has allowed him to adopt a more cultural touch to every haircut he produces. Each cut is suited to the individual guest, which leaves them with a look and feel of 'personal style'; like it was fitted just for them. No one's hair grows the same or feels the same. Therefore the cut should be unique and styled as the hair desires.

Growing up in open mountain ranges, and raised by a mother that has a background in arts, it was natural for Johnny to be creative and free at an early age. At 17 he discovered his love for creating shapes and styles with hair and decided it’s time to travel to bigger cities.

Johnny’s career started at The Salon, inside of Wynn Las Vegas. He became the youngest stylist to be on the floor in the first 5 star, 5 diamond salon. This quickly led him to another step forward of catering to private clientele. He would soon be traveling to different parts of the world, to style select clientele.
When not traveling or at the Wynn, Johnny would be in LA working in television. He started with the Miss Universe pageants and quickly NBC picked him up to work for Telemundo personally styling for actress Itatí Cantoral.

From Las Vegas Johnny decided to change pace and look for a something a bit different. He wanted more of an artist approach of cutting and made the move to New York City to work for the John Sahag Workshop. He has been there for over 12+ years as a stylist, and in-house/traveling educator.

While in NY Johnny has worked with and for several designers including IRO Paris,  Ralph Lauren, and Anna Sui. He has styled  celebrities and musicians alike. Katy Perry is just one of the few from his list.

The new chapter in his life and career has brought him down to Philadelphia where he was able to create a space that reflected his vision and inspiration of what a shop should consist of. Natural beauty, openness, and creativity.
Everything in the shop has been made locally, and Johnny has met and friended each of the artists that made these pieces for the space, making the shop even more special, and unique.

SEIKO KUBOTA
COLORIST

From the age of 18, Seiko took an extreme liking to color. The naturalness and the full-of-movement looks she created was what made her stand out when starting out in one of the top salons in Tokyo, Japan. She quickly became the busiest and most noticed colorists in the city, which led her to teaching seminars and private classes for color companies, Japanese fashion magazines, and advertisements.  This fueled her to make a move to NY and study under the "God of color" Michael Murphy.
Seiko now splits her time both in select cities on the east coast and in Japan.

'Seiko takes mousy-colored and muddy browns and paints in layers of golds and chestnuts and warm and cool umbers, for dark hair with drama and depth. Colleagues describe her as a kind of color savant: “She sees things no one else sees.”’ [Philly Mag]
